The Romanian painter Raul Neret will finish until the beginning of 2012 the work of his life – the world’s largest painting.
The project impresses by its dimensions as well as by the possibility of its 3 way views:
- day view in the normal light,
- night view in the absence of light (it will radiate light because it will be painted with Startonight pigments that absorb light)
- in the darkness, but at UV exposure
The painting will be a travel in time and space, being inspired from the images captured by the Hubble telescope.
The painting will be painted on canvas with a width of 2.1 m and length of 100 m. It could be presented partially or totally, depending on the location, using an electromechanical device, being able to resist in various environments at extreme temperatures.
